- The HKEAA does not stipulate teaching hours for Category C subjects. For more information about standards and difficulty level of the respective Other Languages (OL) subjects, students and teachers can refer to the descriptors and sample papers on the website of respective official organisations. Schools can make reference to the information when determining the teaching hours for the respective OL subjects.
- If a student has successfully completed the Other Languages (OL) test in S5, or the second term in S4, will he/she need to attend the remaining lessons for the OL subject in S5 and S6?
- This is a school’s internal policy. It is up to schools to decide if their students need to attend the remaining lessons for the OL subject in S5 and/or S6.
