Public Examinations Support System 2 (PESS2)
| To facilitate the smooth conduct of public examinations, the Public Examinations Communication and Support System (PECSS) and Attendance and Script Tracking System (ASTS) have been used to support the conduct of written examinations since 2007. With a view to enhancing the system functions by making use of the latest technology, a new digital platform, i.e. Public Examinations Support System 2 (PESS2) has been developed to replace the existing PECSS and ASTS from the 2024 HKDSE. With the implementation of PESS2, candidates are required to use their mobile phone to perform self check-in via the ‘Check-in Smart (HKDSE)’ App after they arrive at the examination room. During the attendance taking process, invigilators will verify candidates’ identity via mobile devices showing the photograph of candidates provided during the registration. Candidates should download and install the App at App Store or Google Play before going to the examination centres. |
