- Administered over 130 international and professional examinations for about 210,000 candidates

- Organised the first Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers (LPAT)

- Renamed as Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority

- Online registration services available for private candidates of HKCEE and HKALE

- Held the Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA) for Primary 3 for the first time
- First round consultation for the New Senior Secondary curriculum and the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE)

- Developed Onscreen Marking (OSM) and public examination systems
- Extended the TSA to Primary 6

- Barcoded and scanned the scripts of HKCEE and HKALE
- Included Secondary 3 in the TSA

- Introduced Standards-referenced Reporting (SRR) in HKCEE Chinese Language and English Language
- Established the Public Examinations Information Centre
- Three assessment centres set up for the onscreen marking of HKCEE Chinese Language and English Language scripts
