Recognition of Qualifications for HKDSE

The HKDSE is not only well-recognsied locally, but is also widely recognised by non-local higher education institutions. For information about recognition of the HKDSE among non-local higher education institutions, please click here. Currently, over 300 tertiary institutions worldwide have published their general admission requirements for candidates holding HKDSE qualification on the HKEAA’s website. The HKEAA will continue to invite overseas universities/institutions to provide information about their general admission requirements for HKDSE candidates*.

*To create space for students and cater for learner diversity, the optimising measures which are applicable to the 2024 HKDSE onwards have been implemented.
