The year 2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE).

The HKDSE was first launched in 2012. Since its launch, the HKDSE has been an important credential for senior secondary students furthering their studies locally or overseas, or pursuing a career. Over the years, about 645,000 candidates have taken the HKDSE, with about 9,000,000 scripts marked.
