Registration for the 2025 HKDSE Categories A, B and C subjects has been accepted from 11 September to 8 October 2024. Read the school circular, press release, registration webpage, and the blogs for school candidates and private candidates for details.

Starting from the 2025 HKDSE, new arrangements will be implemented for Category C subjects, under which candidates will have to take the stipulated language examinations administered by the official organisations. For the 2026 HKDSE and beyond, Urdu Language will be included again as a Category C subject. Please refer to the press release, HKDSE blog and relevant webpage for details.

The HKDSE Diagnostic Feedback System (DFS), developed by the HKEAA integrates the multiple-choice question banks of various HKDSE subjects. Teachers can compile examination papers by selecting questions from a particular year, scope of content, level of difficulty, etc. for assessment of students, and obtain diagnostic reports, which include expected grades and key knowledge points and hints written by subject experts on questions that students answered incorrectly.
