October Research Forum on Using Assessment Data for Better Learning and Teaching
Being committed to promoting ‘Assessment for Learning’, we hosted the inaugural HKEAA Research Forum on the theme of Using Assessment Data for Better Learning and Teaching on 31 October 2018. Local educators, academics and researchers were invited to share their insights in enhancing learning and teaching through assessment data analytics with over 400 participants.

August Myths and Facts of Examinations: What Parents Need to Know?
Public Examinations Information Seminars
Over 670 parents of secondary school students joined the Public Examinations Information Seminars on 11 August and 15 September. The management of public examination, marking and grading, as well as a number of international examinations that can be taken to meet various pathway requirements were discussed during the event.

January Uncovering the myths: Open Day and Seminars
This year 1,200 students, parents and members of the public joined the HKEAA Assessment Centre Open Day and the HKDSE information seminars on 20 and 27 January. Visitors had the chance to try out the scanning, onscreen marking and oral recording systems to learn more about marking of answer scripts and the operation of speaking tests.
