Depending on the class size and the nature of the practical work, the teacher can decide on how many students are to be assessed in each task. If the teacher has split the class into groups for assessment of Area A using different practical tasks, the marks for Area A of different students would clearly come from different practical tasks. If students in a school are assessed on different tasks, the teacher should take care that tasks chosen for assessment should be of a similar nature and complexity, and call for similar skills.
