Extraction of HKDSE Results for Institutions
The Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), widely recognised both locally and internationally, is an important credential for students aiming to further their education and start their careers. The HKEAA places significant emphasis on the verification of HKDSE results and has been providing HKDSE results to educational institutions and organisations, including local universities, the Education Bureau, organisations responsible for joint admission schemes such as the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS), as well as local self-financed institutions to assist their admission processes. With the consent of the applicants, educational institutions can obtain HKDSE results directly from the HKEAA without involving any third parties, ensuring the authenticity of the results.
The results extraction service is available to accredited local and non-local tertiary institutions. Institutions must obtain the consent of the applicants concerned in advance and submit a written application to the HKEAA at least one month before the extraction exercise, typically the HKDSE results release day. Additionally, institutions are required to provide the purpose of the results extraction and relevant information needed for processing of the applications. Results from the 2012 HKDSE up to the current examination year are available.

If institutions or employers need to verify individual applicant’s public examination results, they can request the applicant concerned to apply for a ‘Certification of Results (COR)’. The Authority will send the certification letter directly to the designated organisation as proof of an applicant's public examination results. Refer to the Certification of Examination Results for Candidates for details.
