(A) Pearson Edexcel IGCSE
Submission of Registration:
Candidates are required to submit their registrations via the HKEAA Online Registration System (online.hkeaa.edu.hk) during the
registration period. They should upload the image of their valid Hong Kong Identity Cards or other identification documents for verification
purpose at the time of registration. For candidates who would like to register as a “School Candidates”, they should first obtain a school code
(i.e. GSXXX) through their schools and the school code is required to be entered during the online registration.
Candidates must complete the online registration and settle the examination fees by 16 August 2024 (by 5:30pm). All registration submitted after 16 August 2024 (by 5:30pm) will be served as “Late Entry” and a supplementary fee will be levied for each application. Candidates are advised to submit their entries as early as possible in order to avoid the rush in the last few days. For those candidates who have difficulties with online registration, please contact the HKEAA by email (ie@hkeaa.edu.hk) or by phone (3628 8787) for further assistance.
Please note that all examination documents (e.g. admission form, result statement) will be posted
within Hong Kong only. No postal service will be arranged for address located outside Hong Kong.
Examination Timetable:
Please be reminded that it is the candidates' responsibilities to check the examination timetable carefully and to decide whether the examination schedule fits their personal life plan before the submission of the registration.
Access Arrangement for Examination:
Candidates who request for access arrangement (including the request of Modified Paper) for the examination should contact the HKEAA by email and an application form will be sent to candidates for completion. Completed application form with valid supporting documents must be submitted to HKEAA by email before the specified deadline.
Candidate Information Checklist:
The electronic version of the candidate information checklist will be released to private candidates via the HKEAA Online Service Portal by end of the August 2024. For school candidates, it will be distributed by their schools directly.
Admission form for written examination:
The admission form for written examination will be sent to private candidates by post / school candidates through their schools in mid-October 2024.
Examination Results
The examiantion results for November 2024 series will be available in January 2025.

(B) Cambridge IGCSE

Retake Entry (for retaking the same subject in May/June 2024 series):
For candidates who wish to apply for retaking the SAME subject(s) taken in May/June 2024 examination series (not applicable for the candidates who had withdrawn their entries in May/June 2024), the registration of “Retake Entry” will be opened from 2 to 6 September 2024. For registration, candidates are required to send the request with the supporting document (i.e. statement of result in May/June 2024) to the HKEAA by email (ie@hkeaa.edu.hk). An online form will then be sent to the candidates for registration. Please note that the online registration of retake entry must be completed no later than 6 September 2024. No late application will be accepted after the specified deadline. For school candidates, please check with your schools for the registration arrangement.

Speaking Test for IGCSE French - Foreign Language (0520):
The speaking test (Paper 3) of IGCSE French Language will be held in October 2024. The admission form of the speaking test will be sent to private candidates by email or school candidates through schools in mid-September 2024.
