Since its establishment in 1977, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority has been committed to providing professional, equitable and reliable examination and assessment services, to meet societal and educational needs.

In celebration of its 45th anniversary, the HKEAA has designed an anniversary logo featuring a sail boat. It symbolises the Authority’s journey of triumphing over challenges over the past decades, carrying on board numerous candidates seeking reliable qualifications in pursuit of their ideals.

The purple sail in the logo resembles an open book, symbolising rich knowledge; the arrow-shaped book represents the guidance provided by knowledge in the different important stages of life.

The colourful logo design symbolises the different examinations and assessments linked to diverse pathways for candidates; it also represents the HKEAA’s longstanding provision of quality examination and assessment services.
