To view an individual presentation in which the student was giving a self-introduction for a University admission interview.
Comment:
The student has to do a self-introduction for a mock University admission interview as part of a Part B elective on Workplace Communication. His voice projection is fine, and he pronounces common sounds / sound clusters clearly and accurately. He also speaks at a good pace with a good articulation towards a single listener, and a natural style. He uses some sophisticated vocabulary and complex language patterns. Although there are a number of noticeable language errors, none of them seriously impede communication. He shows awareness of errors and some attempts at self-correction. He manages to maintain a clear structure without relying on any notes. He introduces himself with some additional details and explanations, although his introduction could be elaborated a bit more. His self-reflection at the end seems genuine and adds value to the earlier ideas.
