62 Ensuring Business Continuity Amid the outbreak of the pandemic, the HKEAA has adopted work from home arrangement. Multiple IT solutions were applied on a timely basis to ensure business operations continuity and minimum interruption to public services. We adopted various IT solutions, for instance, corporate web mail services and secured connection via the virtual private network (VPN) to support the contingency arrangement. An online communication solution was made available for staff, with additional webcams and microphones installed for the office workstations to facilitate online communications. In general, staff responded positively to the move towards digitalisation and it created an opportunity for the HKEAA to speed up its promotion of computer-based testing. In addition, the HKEAA has performed an Enterprise-wide Information Security Assessment and a cyber security drill partnered with the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police to further enhance its capacity for handling information security incidents. Development of an Integrated Corporate Services System In order to simplify internal operations, the HKEAA has put extra effort in simplifying and re-engineering the work process. An Integrated Corporate Services System (ICSS) supporting corporate-wide financial, human resources, procurement and project management, is under development to replace the existing systems. The ICSS project kicked off in August 2019, and the modules on document management and procurement management were launched in 2020.
