30 考評局特殊需要考生事務委員會（委員會）及 學障考生事務專責小組（專責小組），負責按 照公開考試委員會訂定的指引，處理考生的 特別考試安排申請。由本年度起，自閉症譜 系障礙（ASD）及╱或注意力不足╱過度活躍 症（AD/HD）考生若申請延長作答時間，需符 合新增的申請要求，即除了有效的診斷報告 外，學校和相關專家亦需共同提交有關考生 需延長作答時間之理據和建議。 此外，我們繼續讓符合資格的特殊學習障礙 考生使用語音轉換文字軟件(STT)應考文憑試 部分科目。在2020年文憑試，除通識教育科 外，使用STT軟件的安排已擴展至七個選修 科目（包括中國歷史、倫理與宗教、地理、 健康管理與社會關懷、歷史、英語文學及旅 遊與款待）。共有215名來自102間學校的考 生於相關考試使用STT軟件作答。 Applications for special examination arrangements are considered by the Committee on Special Needs Candidates (the Committee) and the Task Group on Special Examination Arrangements for Candidates with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) (the Task Group) in accordance with the guidelines stipulated by the Public Examinations Board (PEB). Starting from this year, candidates with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) who request extra time allowance (ETA) should fulfil the new requirements. Under the new rule, apart from a valid diagnostic report, the school and a relevant expert need to put forward the rationale and recommendation for ETA jointly. Meanwhile, we continued to allow eligible candidates with SLD to use the speech-to-text (STT) software in the HKDSE. In the 2020 HKDSE, the provision of STT software was extended to seven elective subjects (i.e. Chinese History, Ethics and Religious Studies, Geography, Health Management and Social Care, History, Literature in English, and Tourism and Hospitality Studies) besides Liberal Studies.
