Introduction

School-based Assessment (SBA) is a salient feature of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination to be introduced in 2012. In the HKDSE, all the 24 subjects will include an SBA component. To enable schools and teachers to familiarise themselves with the new senior secondary curriculum as well as the SBA requirements and procedures, a strategic implementation strategy will be adopted in introducing SBA.
