As Hong Kong's statutory examination and assessment body, we are best known for our role as provider of equitable, reliable and internationally recognized assessment services. We have a network of partnerships with close to 100 overseas examination bodies, educational institutions and professional groups to ensure we stay abreast of world trends in providing assessment services. It is also through this international network of partnerships that we ensure our qualifications are respected worldwide.

The Authority comprises a diverse pool of experienced and well trained examination administrative staff, experts in the development of testing services as well as a strong research and development team, who, together, are capable of developing and delivering a full range of examinations and assessment services.

We also run numerous assessment centres at convenient locations throughout Hong Kong and provide about 1,400 workstations for delivering online or computer based examinations. These centers are also suitable for pen and paper tests.

With access to unrivaled expertise and extensive research capability across the assessment and examinations spectrum, we actively form partnerships with local and overseas universities to conduct research and deliver assessment consultancy services.

We also provide training in examination administration, question paper setting and standardization to other examination organizations, maintain state-of-the-art assessment centres for written and computer based tests and administer examinations on behalf of other bodies.
