There are 2 suites of Pearson Test of English (PTE), PTE Young Learners targets for children whilst PTE General targets for teenagers and adults. The upcoming tests will be held in May 2010 in Hong Kong.

For school candidates, the written tests will be invigilated by HKEAA invigilators at students' schools if:
| 1 | the schools could provide their venues for conducting the written tests; and |
| 2 |
there are 25 or more candidates sitting the same level from a school (if two schools of the same district have in total 25 or more candidates sitting the same level, arrangements could be made for the written test to be held at one of the schools).

For private candidates and school candidates whose schools cannot meet the above criteria, the written tests will be held at the venues assigned by HKEAA.

Registration will be accepted from 18 February to 18 March 2010 (excluding Sundays & Public Holidays). No entry will be accepted after 18 March 2010. Candidates requesting special arrangements should submit a written request together with a doctor's certificate at the time of registration.
Admission forms will be sent through schools (school candidates) / by post (private candidates) in late April 2010.
