Listed below are the schools which have had approval for participation in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE).

If a school is also permitted to present candidates for participation in a practical subject of the HKALE, the practical subject will be indicated by the abbreviation of the subject name under the column headed "Approved Practical Subjects".

Schools whose applications for first participation in the HKALE and/or presenting candidates for the particular practical subjects in 2012 are being considered are not included in this School List.
