Introduction

The HKEAA offers a broad range of examinations and assessments spanning general examinations administered in schools and colleges to vocational and professional development certifications.

The range of examinations we offer allows students the possibility of obtaining a variety of qualifications that will open up a world of opportunities.

We are committed to providing candidates with services ranging from registration to provision of past examination papers and reference materials, and to delivering final results in ways that are aimed at helping candidates fulfill their potential.

I want to take the HKDSE

HKDSE is taken mainly by students who have completed a full time six-year secondary school education.
I want to take the HKALE

HKALE is taken mainly by form seven students in secondary schools who have completed a two-year sixth form education.
I am a private candidate

Anyone can register as a private candidate for the HKDSE and HKALE provided they have previously sat for the examinations or have reached the respective qualifying age of the examinations.

I need special examination arrangements

Special arrangements can be made for all candidates with special needs. Such services enable students to be equitably assessed under suitable conditions.
I want to take other examinations

We administer a wide range of over 200 external examinations on behalf of close to 100 examining bodies worldwide. Amongst our clients are government departments, professional bodies, colleges and universities, and employers and licensing authorities. Examinations administered under this category include professional and vocational examinations, language proficiency examinations, degree examinations, music and dance examinations,  admission tests and recruitment examinations.
