Code on Access to Information

The Authority has a designated Access to Information Officer who is responsible for ensuring that requests for access to information under the Code are properly dealt with in accordance with specific procedures. Please click here for the detailed code and procedures.

Members of the public may make a request for information or records held by the Authority by submitting an application form by post or email. For information related to requests for personal data held by the HKEAA, including examination results and irregularity reports, please refer to the 'Application Guide on Data Access Request'.

The application form for access to information is made available at the HKEAA offices in Wan Chai (Southorn Centre) and San Po Kong. Applicants may also download the form from the HKEAA website.

Other than publications which are available free of charge, or at cost specified, photocopying charge (black and white photocopy on A3 or A4 size paper with or without enlarging) of HK$1.0 per side will be levied. The charge may be subject to revision.
