Entry Qualifications
This proficiency test in Putonghua is offered by the HKEAA. There are no specific entry requirements. Those who are interested may apply.
Test Date
TPP is usually conducted in July annually. The test date of TPP 2010 will be announced on HKEAA webpage once it is available.
Test Format
Revisions have been made to the TPP with effect from July 2006. While the TPP still consists of written (listening, transcription) and oral components and maintains a similar standard, candidates may now take the components indicated below individually or with combination:

Registration Procedures
Registration normally takes place during March to April. Entry Forms and Instructions to Applicants are available during the registration period at the HKEAA offices in Southorn Centre and San Po Kong. Related information and the entry forms can also be downloaded from the links below during the registration period. Completed entry forms may be submitted by post, in person or via an authorized representative to the HKEAA Southorn Centre office. Enquiries can be made with the Public Examinations Information Centre on 3628 8860.
